This year we made, once again, QUALITY UNIT!

Our Pack's leaders and parents plan and execute a fun-filled program for our boys. Parents and child involvement is encouraged as we help boys discover what they can do when they DO THEIR BEST!

We have outdoor events, car races ( our Pinewood Derby ), a fall and spring campout, as well as encourage the boys to participate in the many events that the Calumet Council run for us. Cub Scouting is a lot of fun, and the pack committee works very hard to ensure that each boy can get the most out of scouting.

Our parents meeting is on the 1st thursday after the 1st wednesday of every month, to plan out the month's events, to turn in advancement reports, and to review our financial status. This is an oppurtunity for ALL parents ( not just leaders ) to come and get involved with Pack Happenings.

We meet on the 3rd thursday after the 1st Wednesday of every month at American Legion Post 430. This is where our scouts are recognized for their achievments and receive patches for any events they may have attended. At pack meetings we also have our rank advancement ceremonies when the boys have achieved rank. Scouts and their parents are encouraged to attend this meeting regularly so they are kept up to date.

In addition to the meetings, our pack secretary produces a monthly newsletter, named PACK HAPPENINGS to announce pack events and issues. This web site will be archiving them in the near future.
